Carmelized Bamboo Meditation Platform

Blue Lotus Yoga is thrilled to present the Carmelized Bamboo Meditation Platform! Bamboo is a remarkable sustainable resource that amazingly rapidly replenishes itself. Shoots newly breaking the ground reach full height, about 90 feet, in six weeks; and in five years, the culms are ready for harvest. In Asia where it is grown, bamboo represents the flexibility tenacity and endurance that can ideally prevail in human life. Bamboo sways in the breeze and does not break; its leaves blow in the wind and do not fall; it endures. Bamboo complements meditation and contemplation.

Our local framemaker was excited to design and produce this platform. Measuring 31.5" x 38" x 8" the platform creates an elegant mediation space. It is designed to accommodate a zabuton with meditation cushion atop. Place the accoutrements for meditation upon the platform. Step up and sit comfortably and serenely.

To protect the top, special boxing is required.
